Kara received her bachelor’s degree in both Marketing & International Studies with a minor in French from the University of Texas – Hook’em Horns!  She attended her senior year of high school in Copenhagen, Denmark and lived in Lyon, France before moving to Austin.

Before starting in the insurance industry, Kara and her husband spent their early 20’s teaching travelers how to backpack through Europe.  She and Peter have 2 college age kids attending school in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Kara brings 13 years of experience in the insurance industry to Wallace Specialty.  As an Account Executive, she values the importance of the customer experience above all else and works to build those client relationships every day.

Kara is an avid sunshine seeker.  In her spare time, you will find her outdoors whenever possible.  She still plays soccer on a women’s team she started 16 years ago and she enjoys riding her bike around downtown Dallas.
